March 1, 2022Find the extra comfort and support you need with a supportive lift recliner. Relaxing and comfortable for those with limited mobility, they feature a lift function that allows you to gently stand without straining your knees or back.
The power motion recline extends your legs with a delicate motion. While enjoying the relaxing recline, you will be held up by the pillowed headrest and supported by extra thick pillow arms.
Not all lift chairs will work for you. We have a variety of lift chairs to choose from. Some may need a tall lift chair that features higher seat backs and a greater distance from the floor to the top of the seat to accommodate longer legs. If you are less than 5’3″ you need a specifically sized chair for the most comfortable seating experience.
At CAPS Remodeling we can help you find the right lift chair for your needs.

This is a great article. My Nana had a stair lift in her elder years – it was very hard for her to get up to the second floor. Luckily my home is only 1-story currently, but I have an attic, and I’m looking at adding on an office on a second floor addition, so a stair lift would be good for my later years in life. It would have to be a narrow stair lift, because I can barely fit through the doorway as it is right now.
